Who we are

The Tenacious Awards is an initiative of Changing Ideas, a registered charity founded by David Graham. Changing Ideas supports ideas addressing social injustice and human rights, and backs causes that can impact the lives of the most vulnerable including through the Tenacious Awards.

The Tenacious Awards is supported by trusted partners and friends across the campaigning and journalism worlds. To successfully deliver the awards and maximise their longer-term impact, Tenacious Awards partners with:

Breakthrough Impact is a first of its kind impact accelerator, giving campaigners the support, tools and network they need to build their campaigns, grow their movements and achieve lasting change. Breakthrough provides personalised mentoring and strategic support to Tenacious Award winners.

The Social Change Nest has distributed over £16 million to grassroots groups and movements and supported funders to get their money into the hands of the people and communities who need it most. The Social Change Nest provides fiscal hosting and contract support to our Tenacious campaigners.

The Public Interest News Foundation (PINF) is the UK’s first charity to support public interest news – ethical and impartial journalism that informs and empowers the public about the things that matter to all of us. PINF administers the Tenacious Journalism Awards and is providing mentoring and support to the winners.
